Wonderful park, animals are clearly very well looked after, staff are friendly and happy to help with any problems that you may have. Park is fully wheelchair accessible with wheel chairs and mobility scooters available to rent on the day. Entry is reasonably priced as are the gift shop and restaurants. Experiences are available involving the animals for a fee and come highly recommended l, especially Savannah safari experience. Regular talks and displays are on around the park and are well planned so it is possible to see all of them if you wish to and are willing to do a bit of walking. Brilliant for families with children of all ages or for anyone who wishes to visit. Would highly recommend visiting and was so impredded that we purchased a season pass.

Excellent value. Just been to Africa Alive, great place to visit. Good collection of animals. Everywhere well maintained. The soft play was a great hit with my grandson. Good food choices in the food hall. Loved watching the giraffe being fed. Great day out

This is a lovely zoo! The animal enclosures are clean and spacious and the animals look happy and well looked after. There always seems to be some improvement work going on to develop the zoo but it is never disruptive to your enjoyment. The animal feeding talks are informative and interesting and staff are always happy to answer questions. It’s not a huge zoo, you can walk around it in 2-3 hours but if you attend some of the feeding talks it’s easy to make a day out of it. There’s a nice cafe/restaurant with reasonably priced food and drink and a few sheltered benches for picnics. There’s a large play area outside with play equipment for younger and older children and a small indoor softplay area with a baby section. There’s also a train running throughout the day which takes you around the whole zoo with the driver as your tour guide. We have season tickets and would definitely recommend, we have got our money back countless times as my children absolutely love it! We especially love the lemur enclosure which you can walk through the lemurs will sit right beside you (though they never seem to stay still long enough to get a picture!)

Africa Alive is a family attraction Zoo located in Suffolk, UK. At Africa Alive, you can explore the sights and sounds of Africa and discover lions, giraffes, meerkats, hunting dogs and many more animals from the African continent! Zoo staff is excellent. Apart from Zoo Animals you will find food court, picnic area, restrooms, souvenir shop. But some how i felt there were less number of animals to be seen and most of them were sleeping. Entrance fees seems to be costly. Apart from this it is a good place to spend time with family.
