Beautiful. Not much more can be said about this other than perfect surroundings, fantastic food and relaxing atmosphere. Extremely friendly staff and fantastic wedding service. (Sister got married here and was outstanding!)

Attended Van Dykes Hotel yesterday for a wedding. 
The whole day was beautiful and the food for the wedding breakfast was absolutely delicious. Everything from the starter to the dessert was yummy and didn't leave anything......gorgeous. Looking at booking to eat in the restaurant already 😁

If you want to pay over a fiver for a pint, or over £2 for a small lime and soda, then you're luck's in. I don't mind paying for drinks, but I'm not a great fan of feeling ripped off. 
The burger wasn't anything to write home about, and the beef dinners didn't look anything special. This is one of those establishments that thinks it can charge what it likes for average food, and way too much for drinks, because it has a reputation for being posh and having nice decor. 
Not value for money, I'm afraid.

We went to a tribute evening with a meal which was really good. The atmosphere was great the food was excellent and the staff gave good service with a smile!
