We left our dog Bo with Ashleigh for a 2 week residential and he came back a changed boy. He is way calmer and follows commands especially with recall which before he just ignored us! We are keeping up with the work as it doesn't finish once you pick him up, it's a work in progress! But hands up to Ashleigh who changed our boy for the best. We are very happy with the work she has done.
Have recently had some 1-2-1 sessions with Emma. Our 20 month Border Collie had no recall and we had to keep her on the lead. This caused issues in itself. Emma was able within a few sessions with the support of an E collar for our pup to be walked off the lead. The support that Emma has provided has helped in other areas too. Our dog has made such amazing progress and it’s all down to Emma’s support. We are now enjoying our walks and definitely recommend Emma as an incredible dog trainer.
We sent out 2.5 year old Cavapoo to Ash as she had so many behavioural problems we just couldn't sort out, including reactivity, resource guarding, biting and mouthing. After her 2 week residential, she came back a much calmer, less anxious dog, whose behaviour we were able to manage and we could enjoy having her around. It's a pleasure to be with her now as she doesn't bark at the window, doesn't jump at visitors, is amazing at recall and is generally so much more obedient. We've just had a lovely Christmas with her, where she didn't attempt to chew any of the presents under the tree or on the day when we were opening them! We would definitely recommend Absolute Obedience.
I can’t thank Emma enough for what she did with all of my 3 dogs all had different issues 1 dog was adopted from guarding/aggression to lack of confidence and over active . You have saved and massively improved future of this dogs and our family !
I sent my 18 month old German Shepherd JJ to Emma for training, as he very was reactive around other dogs, and the numerous training methods we had tried previously did not work. Someone recommended Emma to me, and so I booked JJ in. Right from the get go, Emma was extremely accommodating with dates she had available, and worked around us when we had to push JJ’s start date back slightly. Throughout the 2 weeks of training, we were sent frequent videos of JJ’s progress, and the results are phenomenal. My boy now walks past dogs without blinking and eye, both on and off a lead, and taking him out is so much more enjoyable. He now has so much freedom and is such a happy dog, booking in with Emma was the best decision I have made. I do not regret a penny, don’t go elsewhere and waste your money, just get it right first time with Emma and Ash!
Huxley our 1-year-old Newfoundland went to stay with Emma for 2-week residential training. When we left him, he was a 50kg of out-of-control dog. He was stubborn and headstrong, he pulled on his lead, his recall was awful, and his manners were pretty much non-existent. When we collected him, we could not believe the transformation. Emma worked so hard with him during his stay, and he was like a new dog. Now, his recall is amazing…. 100% recall, all the time. He walks perfectly to heel, on a very loose lead, or even without one, if it’s safe. He is so much calmer, and easier to control and his overall behaviour is much improved. He still loves other dogs and is still easily distracted, however, getting his attention is now so much easier. Emma sent us daily videos of his progress and updates on what he had been working on. She spent a long time during the handover ensuring we were comfortable with his ongoing training skills, which are vital to achieving continued success. A giant breed dog is a huge commitment and we are so grateful to Emma for helping Huxley fulfil his potential and teaching him how to lead a well-behaved, happy, playful, fun life. He is still a 50kg walking, slobbering, hairy beast, with a love of everyone and all things water-related – but we wouldn’t want him any other way. Thank you Emma x
We reached out to Absolute Obedience as our 7 month puppy, Romeo, had started to develop some bad habits and issues like selective recall, barking at every dog and person he saw on the street, resource guarding, tugging on the leash and lack of confidence. He completed the 2 week residential training with Ash and we were so impressed with the service provided and the end result. His bad manners have been corrected and he's much more confident and well-behaved. We don't get anxious when taking him out for walks anymore and he doesn't batter an eyelid at distractions like he would before. Ash has continued to offer advice and support to us post-training which has been super reassuring. We would highly recommend Absolute Obedience over and over again.

We sent our two year old poochon to Ash for the two week residential programme. We were experiencing quite a few problems with our boy including pulling on the leash, no recall and quite bad anxiety in public places/around new people. Since he has returned home, he has improved more than I could have imagined. There is no more pulling on the lead, we can finally take him off lead at parks with full recall and he is so much more confident when in public places! I could not have been happier with the outcome and Ash was an amazing trainer, despite missing our boy a lot.. we received daily updates on his progress which was very reassuring and the whole experience was nothing short of amazing. I would definitely recommend Ash for anyone experiencing similar problems!
We recently sent our 2.5 year old German Shepherd for a 2 week residential training here, as he was pulling too much when he was on the lead. He is a strong dog and taking him for walk was not easy nor fun cause he was uncontrollable on the lead especially when he is excited. The result of the training is shockingly good. Ash was very caring during this 2 week period. She put great time and effort to understand our dog and control his anxiety. She sent us videos of then progress they make. Our dog came back as a calm, happy and obedient dog. Our lives transformed after this training. Now we spend more time outdoors with our dog cause it is easy and stress free. He gets longer walks and more treats! Even our neighbours cannot recognise him: Thank you Absolute Obedience <3
