Very helpful and kind staff. Very efficient service- I had an out of hours appointment at 9 and I was out by 9:08.
Terrible lack of care.. My father 86 yo was hospitalised for two weeks due to ulcer on big toe in February.. He is type 2 diabetic. He was treated in hospital and he had good after care weekly on discharge from ARI... fast forward to June and he had a stroke was in ARI then sent to Woodend Stroke Rehab.. all together in from 15/06 - 22/08. No-one bothered to administer any care whatsoever during this time... ward staff were very good but were absolutely doing enough and really the toe is Podiatry responsibility.. I called lots of times to Health Village, David Anderson Building and was not able to receive any help at all.. Now infection back and my Dad was told the bone is visible.. so so worrying. When I ask why no-one has been caring for my dad for months.. same lame excuse... there is no funding for Podiatrist for Hospital Visits... pathetic! I am raging beyond belief.. I will be absolutely furious if he loses his toe due to this TOTAL LACK OF CARE..Did actually see member of Podiatry team in the car-park at Woodend so no funding then!! and she said my Dads name without me telling her, then she said I will look for him on records and try to get up to see him... who is lying??
Very beautiful building, it is beautiful designed and kept very clen. The personal is very plasent and helpful always. Will you wait for the appointment they have a lovely caffe schop were you can drink a good caffe or ather drink you like and you can also have something to eat.
I was shocked that on a Saturday night I could see a doctor so Quickly. The Staff and doctor were amazing and I'm convinced without getting the help I did after being referred by ambulance folk I wouldn't be here to. Write this. Thank you to All the Staff even the big security staff were welcoming and full of smiles. Great service from a wonderful Doctor.
Staff all lovely and friendly. So nice to be treated in a calm environment away from the hustle and bustle of ARI and where your personal needs are catered for. Easy to get to by bus too and no worries about parking. Wish more appointments were done there.
