Serving coffees, homemade soups, local produce and afternoon teas in our cottage right next to the beautiful ruins of Sweetheart Abbey,
Our family run tearoom is situated next to the ruins of Sweetheart Abbey, in the shadow of Criffel, and on the way to the beach. We serve home made soups, home baking and speciality coffees and teas in our tearoom and garden, and we are passionate about home baking and local produce. Our 'Afternoon Tea' is served all day, and gift vouchers are available to buy from our website.
Our favourite family recipes appear in the Dumfries and Galloway Standard, the Galloway News and the 'Baking with Jacqui' in the Daily Record. You can find out more about Abbey Cottage, and try some of our recipes for yourself, in our 'Home & Hearty' cookbook.
