Great service by friendly chaps, fresh tasty fish in a clean crisp batter that holds up. Chunky and still fluffy centered chips. Highly recomend a visit.

Decent chippy. The prices are good on some of the stuff they sell and a majority of the food is nice, but the chips are seriously bad. It ain't a chippy without decent chips.

Visited for 1st time on Tuesday lunch time. Had a 'no.1', essentially a mini-fish special at £4.10. The fish was far from mini and the portion was good value for money, especially compared to the competition up the road (visited end of previous week). Chips were as close to 'perfect' as I would hope for and nothing wrong with mushy peas. I'm a picky eater; I would wholeheartedly recommend the food, and the conversation/ service was polite and engaging. Will definitely be visiting again and again (Shall endeavour to write a follow up if consistency is lacking)...

Food is nice but a little pricey and the staff are pleasant but could be more attentive.
