We walked over from the duVin because of the menu. Well worth the stroll. We began with the Smoked Salmon Appetizer which was surprisingly spicy but not too. Followed that with delicious Beetroot Soup served hot. It was like a borscht for comparison but pureed. Then came the main. We decide on the Mixed Grill to Share. Wow, we were stuffed. Everything was great except the gammon steak which was waaaay too salty for us. We also did not see that it included chips so we ordered the nduja potatoes as a side. Our bad. The lamb chop was our favorite. Outside there are domes set up. A perfect place for the party animals. I included a day and night photo.
Popped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The lunch menu was excellent with good portion size and clearly cooked to order. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Definitely be back.Food: 5/5
I recently moved to Hyndland from London and have been looking forward to coming for a drink at what would be our new local pub with an outdoor space. We’ve been meaning to come for a while… we my boyfriend and I came and after seeing the pods outside on my regular lunch time walk, I figured it would be a nice pub. We entered and it was giving very much chain, carpeted pub vibes. We looked at the menu and it looked pretty unappealing so instead we ordered a drink and sat outside in the ‘pub garden’ photographed. Before we headed home I glanced that I had been charged £20.45 on my Apple Watch. We’d only had a beer and a gin so I checked the receipt… The pint of Joker IPA was £5.95 not totally unreasonable.. and the double gin and tonic was £14.50. £14.50
We didn't eat here, arrived too late but we had a lovely evening enjoying a few drinks in a stunning building. The place used to be a railway terminal and was nearly lost but has been beautifully transformed into this restaurant and bar. I loved the TV in the corner showing it's history, quite fascinating. Outside space is lovely as well, with a small terrace at the side and seating at the front of the property. There are pods available to hire as well which looked amazing as they lit up as the sun went down I would like to comment on the bar staff who were really great... One young man quite happy to chat and tell us all about the place, made us feel very welcome.... Loved our evening here
Wonderful Valentine’s meal in the private dining dome. Lovely romantic experience. The Chateaubriand was tender and tasty. Speakers are a great touch, you can create your own ambience. Service was good
Oh, nice building, professional service, good beer's but the food was bad We waited a very long time for our dishes and had to send back the salmon because it was not cooked. Sunday roast and vegetables were also raw. Not aldente just raw Chips were the worst I have ever tasted, mushy peas watery and lumpy. The baby chair and baby change was dirty. Will not be back.
This place looks beautiful. The food was good. The bubbles look great but a tad pricey. We initially tried to book online but then it wasn't coming up right so we gave up. Later figured it out but by then we had food. Pizza was really nice- menu for pizza is sort of "build your own". Drinks were reasonably priced.
Fabulous Sunday lunch today but the service wasn’t great. Not one of the waiting staff smiled and we felt like they didn’t want us there. It’s a shame as they were perfectly polite and the food was top notch. More cheeriness please and it would be a 5 out of 5.Food: 5/5
Great little find just off Great Western Road, with a good food selection and reasonably priced. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere by the general manager. Cruzcampo on offer at only £3, best value for money when looking for a premium European beer. Worth a visit.Food: 5/5
I had my baby shower in the function room upstairs and can't speak highly enough of the service, staff, location and food. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating leading up to and during the event. Buffet was delicious too! Guests had such a great time lots stayed after to enjoy the roof terrace for more drinks which had a lovely atmosphere.
