The restaurant atmosphere was great except for the loud shouting next table!! The restaurant stay late and can order food till approx. 9:30pm. The food was great and the passionfruit cheesecake was wonderful, however, we were celebrating our anniversary and we mentioned that in our reservation, a massage on the dessert we ordered such as “Happy Anniversary” would have been a remarkable wonderful touch from the restaurant.
Definitely a gorgeous location in Ashton Lane with a great menu. We visited and were seated in the middle courtyard area surrounded by greenery! So picturesque. The food is a great representation of Scottish produce like my favourite, the Venison Haggis.Food: 5/5
As good as ever! Been eating here for >25 years when passing through Glasgow. Very relieved to find that still just as amazing under new ownership. Tasting menu was as ever interesting, thoughtful and perfectly pitched. Accompanying wine was equally superb. Great location, great service. Very reasonable for quality. What a place.Food: 5/5
Excellent food for my graduation. Slightly sluggish service but they took care of the wine. Much appreciated! Wonderful staff, very attentive. Beautiful atmosphere in iconic setting. Steak with au poivre sauce was outstanding. Sea trout excellent and fresh without being heavy.Food: 5/5
Was seated for dinner on a Monday with no reservation. Staff was nice and food was delicious. Server could of been a little friendlier but overall no complaintsFood: 5/5
Beautiful space with so much personality! We loved the atmosphere, and the service was prompt and friendly. We had lunch on a Thursday. We ordered the pork "belly" but it was actually a pork chop. The bouillabaisse's broth tasted like canned tomato soup, sort of disappointing. Would try again and order different dishes.Food: 3/5
Reservation very recommended. “Unique and memorable dining experience with its distinct atmosphere and decor” Atmosphere - cozy and inviting atmosphere, a "jungle chic" vibe, features a small water pool and abundant greenery Decor - The decor of Ubiquitous Chip is both artistic and rustic, featuring elements that emphasize natural beauty and Scottish cultural motifs. The use of plants and water elements adds to the overall charm and creates a visually appealing environment Food and Drinks - The menu at Ubiquitous Chip showcases the best of Scottish cuisine, with a focus on local produce and seasonal ingredients. impressive range of drinks, including craft cocktails and a comprehensive wine list. Overall positive, good quality of food, the uniqueness of the setting, long wait times during peak hours.
A secluded oasis of calm in the bustling West End of Glasgow. As city wedding venues go - it's really very unique! Lots of greenery!Atmosphere: 5/5
The venue is charming with different levels and lots of plants. The noise level is quite clattering. The toilets are of a lower standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable about allergies and recommended a suitable wine for the meal. The food was good, but given that we paid £119 for two main courses and a glass of wine, we expected more.
This was a fantastic restaurant for a nice night out. I went here with a friend and we both got scallops and venison, both of which were amazing. The service was also very good, as our server was attentive and informative. Overall I would definitely recommend going here at some point if you can.Food: 5/5
