It’s not bad. Don’t get me wrong I wasn’t disappointed generally. However, compared to other Zizzi I have been to of which the list is short, it wasn’t very good. Garlic bread was moderate at best. Pizza was good Classic Mozzarella with Ham. Dessert was alright Chocolate Brownie Sundae. Service wasn’t the best. Room was plain.Food: 3/5
Have to say was very disappointed. Ordered off the main menu as advised that the pizza oven was now closed. Asked for soda water and was asked if we wanted bottled and we said no just water. We were given 3 large Peroni glasses filled with carbonated water. When the bill came we’d been charged for 6 x soda waters which came to £11.70. We asked why and was told that their soda water only came in bottles and we said that we had made it clear we did not want to order bottled water. After a discussion she agreed to take 3 off. If it had been made clear we could have just ordered one as the glass that my friend had was not clean. As there was only 2 other people in there, my first impression was to go elsewhere. I now know that I will not be visiting any Zizzi’s restaurants in the future.
*pizza only review* The signature rustica pizza is quite underwhelming in many ways. The dough is very dry, the undercarriage is loaded with semolina, the sauce is scarce plus acidic and the cheese quality is poor. At least it is thin, and it was cooked well… Overall, a sad pizza, you can do better.
Well the food was very average like I could have one hundred percent made it better at home. Had to send it back to the kitchen for more flavour then had to add more salt smh. Not the best. Don’t think I’d go back tbh.
We enjoyed the food in here, been in other branches and sometimes the food is a bit hit and miss, but this was really nice! Quite a good and mixed menu selection, vegetarian options and gluten free options. Staff was very polite and friendly.Food: 5/5
Overall for a first time we would give it 3/4 out of 5. Quiet midweek night out for 6 of us and pretty empty but inside is nice and inviting. The 2 staff that was on were nice friendly and happy to help with questions so 5 stars with service. Used a coupon for a free garlic bread which was pretty small so we got a small bit each but was average taste but free so can't complain on that. Drinks. Cokes etc came in bottles nicely presented with glass ice lemon but they are small and draughts are better option maybe. Tried a new cocktail which I think is pricey at nearly £9 and small no razzle dazzle. Food. Most had safer option of spaghetti bolognese and while you got a big bowl full, it was alot of spaghetti and not enough sauce which was pretty standard in flavour and we didn't think was worth nearly £15 same price as the pizza its alot and both were inconsistent in size as you can see in pics with one far smaller than the other. I tried a new dish off the new signature beef and chianti ragu. Looked amazing online with the description. Pasta tasted lovely, good presentation and filling however again was £17-£18 was missing the cheese topping and tasted good but after a few mouthfuls I was not tasting the flavours I expected but was similar to the bolognese sauce. 3 people had desserts, 2 melting puddings and 1 brownie sundae which had nice presentation again roughly £7. I would visit again but with not such a big group due to costs but we still enjoyed the evening and enjoyable just not fantastic. Im no food critic just an honest reviewer :
Our server Bridgette was very accommodating of our needs and preferences, had good advice when we could decide what to have and was overall lively and welcoming. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The food and drinks arrived quickly, perfect temperate and was very nice and filling. Thanks for a great afternoon Dietary restrictions: Our party had several allergies and intolerances and our server made certain that none of those ingredients were brought near us, and when asked to confirm if an ingredient was one of our allergens went above and beyond to reassure us it was not.
They had great food, and they looked after the kids with a kid's activity sheet and coloured pencils. Overall, it was great. Don't forget to sign up for their awards programme and get a free item from the menu!Food: 5/5
Using Uber Eats I ordered with estimated delivery of 20-35 minutes arrived almost 2hrs later and the pizza was completely cold! When I called they tried to blame delivery but due to the time it was taking I knew it only took delivery person 7 minutes from collection to drop off! The wings were hot and tasty but if I wanted to cook a Pizza in the oven I would have bought a £2 on in Iceland not a £30 meal that was worth the price of the wings and a bin bag!!! Avoid at all costs.
Bridget our server was very helpful and patient with such a large group. Food was excellent and all staff very helpful and accommodating. Children's menu was very good and well thought out. Lovely evening for a birthday celebration.Food: 5/5
