Absolutely beautiful, authentic food and decor! If you know anything about Italy, their culture and decor you will thoroughly enjoy this restaurant. The food was the best Italian food I have tasted and the Chef who is Italian for a change and waitresses were welcoming and attentive! I'm not sure what planet the people are from that left bed reviews they obviously no nothing of Italy and are professional moaners. I highly recommend eating here!
You don't need a TARDIS to go back in time. Go to this lovely old fashioned restaurant. Cash or cheque only. A slow food experience not to be rushed. Has a devoted clientele that travels many miles for the experience. Will probably leave many British millennials baffled but delight those with a longing for more unhurried times or continental visitors.
Tried this place for the first time in 12 years And I wish I would of gone sooner. The steak is Amazing and the owners and staff are fantastic. You cannot ask for a better service especially when the owner always come out to talk to you and say goodbye.
Awful Restaurant Visited this restaurant on Friday with Friends and we would never return again. The food was terrible, tasteless and poorly presented. There is a damp smell which hits you as soon as you enter the building. The only thing that is missing is Basil Fawlty. This most defiantly somewhere I will not be visiting again

We went last night for my birthday having been there many times before. As always the food and service was second to none, thank you for a most enjoyable evening.....I’m already looking forward to the next visit.

Avoid at all costs ,worst "Italian cafe " ever no way is this a restaurant . Phoned to check availability greeted with are you paying CASH or CHQ alarm bells . Arrived owner /chef all over us again asking CASH or CHQ After declining my offer of washing up I flashed my CASH £££££ . The main event ! This is it - waitress on planet blob = totally got order wrong - only 2 other dinners / friends as they were in and out the kitchen like a fiddlers elbow ps they had steak & chips ! Very Italian. . The FOOD - it was as impossible to describe as it was to eat. Microwave not working correctly springs to mind. House wine £14 bottle - local shop & save 3 for £10 After being unable to eat the "meal effort" the "OWNER /. !!!!!!CHEF was not available . On the plus side fare few parking places available I WONDER WHY ? .
The only Italian restaurant I have visited that has run out of pasta! Only 2 couples in restaurant but took 20 mins to serve as too busy chatting to the other couple. Poor decor and unattractive exterior. Struck me as a local restaurant for local people...and I live 5 mins away!
Great home-style Italian food. Small menu but all well cooked. Poor decor spoils what is really a good local restaurant.
