Was driving passed, when I decided to call in to pick up something to eat. The menu is quite substantial, offering all the usual chip shop staples and more. With a choice of battered or plain chips! Everything seemed reasonably priced, and I was impressed with the size of the portions being served. Staff were friendly and the food was tasty. The chips weren't greasy, like some establishments.
We decided to have a change from our usual chippy, and this place was highly recommended... the staff was friendly, and helpful,the overall place looked clean and well kept ,the food was tasty and fresh and the portions were amazing, definitely hit the spot and then some.what more could you ask for.. we definitely recommend it and we will visit again soon.....
Ordered on just eat at 19.00, was supposed to receive my order by 20.30 latest, I was a little hesitant as I don’t like to eat that late, but placed order anyway, order arrived at 21.00hrs the owner delivered himself, I wasn’t happy and obviously he realised, he was apologetic and said 1 driver had phoned in sick, which is understandable, but if you know you can’t deliver the orders on time then, you need to turn off just eat, or go to “Not taking orders at the moment” which would have give me the opportunity to order from elsewhere. The fish and chips were cold, the pizza was ok, when you spend £20 on a meal, you want delivered on time, and edible.
Twice now we've ordered from Zara's pie chips and curry sauce and kebab burger for my partner.... we had bad stomach and nausea the next day. Last night we had mixed meat wrap and partner had kebab burgers, low and behold this morning where bad again.... avoid at all costs.
Tried this chipshop that everyone recommended so decided to try it one Sunday night,we ordered kebab a piece of chicken and chips well where do i start, the chips must have been from the night before the kebab meat was hard like cardboard so was deffo from the night before and the piece of chicken was more of a dead sparrow,what made it worse was we was both suffering with bad stomachs n sickness so no i would deffo not Recommend this chipshop.
I arrived approx 840pm i ask for burger which i was refused to be cooked another customer walks in ask for burger and got it cooked i got told they are regulars and staff are going out for night out , found staff rude will not be coming here again avoid , food was very greasy and cold
I love my fish , I've been all round Wolverhampton chip shop, and by far zara do the best fish and the chips are awesome to Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options Kid-friendliness: Staff are very friendly and helpful Parking: Parking is good
Do not eat here guys the chips were soaked in grease and hardly any fish very poor
The food that I'd chosen for myself and my family was first rate.....I don't know what type of potatoes they use but the taste was phenomenal and their fish was light and flavoured beautiful with no extra-hard crusty extentions to the batter. I would highly recommend phoning your order through to avoid the long wait and the disappointment of not gatting what you want as this is an extremely popular spot for fish and chips....two thumbs up for freshness, taste and service too.
Best pizzas around always delivered very fast so foods nice and hot
