Rude just rude, I ask for delivery said uber only then puts phone down on me. The staff can be very rude, I think it's the owner who is the rudest. I used to order from here years ago and still is the same. Shame really as the food is nice

This place is beautiful and lovely from its staff to the food it's amazing definitely recommend even my kids love it. And the prices are really affordable to the portion sizes definitely my favourite for a Saturday night.  Kid-friendliness: Absolutely lovely to my kids, the kids meals are just perfect for little people  Parking: Plenty of space

Me and my mum lived in Wolverhampton two years ago and it is still our favourite chippy !! We live in Shrewsbury now and my mum comes back every third week to do work and most of the time she gets the chips i definitely recommend

The worst chippy I've been too, this is the 2nd time I've been here never ever again Chips we're more hard batter than chips, the roe tasted and looked like it was done last week, the kebab meat was hard and dry tasted like gravy granules  way over priced for the rubbish food.

Usually I get greeted by lovely staff and the food does taste good, hence I can't give a 1 star.  But on this occasion, the guy with the grey hair assuming the owner was for some reason real abrupt.  Asked for 3 pieces of chicken with chips. He wrapped up the chicken with no chips so I thought he misunderstood so I said "sorry mate I meant with chips please".  He abruptly replied with, "so what you're saying is a piece of chicken and chips 3 times"  I replied with "no sorry mate 3 pieces of chicken just with chips".  He made it clear the frustration on his face. I was also confused but stayed polite.  The lady stepped in to resolve the confusion and she was really polite. It was explained that 1 pieces of chicken with chips is something they do. 2 pieces of chicken with chips is something they do but not 3 pieces of chicken with chips.  Fair enough I now understood that I had to buy 3 peices of chicken separate to a cone of chips.  The guy proceeded to just give the food along with the other stuff I ordered, still evidently frustrated. With no "thank you we got there in the end" no "would you like a bag"  Finally I asked if I could buy a bag. He did put the food in the bag for me and didn't charge foe the bag, but again no "thank you" or nothing. The lady said thank you so credit to her with how she dealt with it.  It's just sad that a simple confusion had to result in such frustration.  Sorry if I was a pain customer with an awkward order, but come on. You don't need to get so wound up, I wasn't rude at all.

Decent food just abit on expensive side

1st time customer @ the Ocean wave..certainly will not be the last..on initial first contact with the staff Team they were very engaging and .the food was prepared efficiently.  We ordered the mixed meat and chips and it was very tasty..large portions all round.. great stuff.

Our lass had fish, chips n peas, proper loved em. Assorted donner meat n chips for me, bloody great stuff. Top marks, better than what you get round our way. If we're ever passing again, we'll pay another visit. Thanks very much

Always very good food from there.
