We initially checked online to see the opening times, the search said it was open.We arrived at around 1515hrs to find different opening times on the door saying it opened at 1600hrs.We had to drive home and then all the way back. On our return, we ordered 2 x fish and chips.The fish was completely soggy so much so it was like mush.The batter wasn’t crispy as battered fish should be and lacking flavour.We both left the fish after trying a mouthful.The chips were also a poor attempt at replicating the infamous Black Country “orange chips”. I’ve never written a review in my life but was really disappointed with our first and last visit to this establishment.
I have used this chippy for many years and after the owners wife had a tumour the chippy was ran by staff, the quality declined. I have now been back several times and I must admit that the food is superb. Nothing is to much trouble and he doesn’t have lots of food in display as he prefers to cooks it fresh whilst you wait. I had to leave review as I did stop using them but after chatting to the owner I realised my bad experience was about the same time the owners wife was getting treated. Thank you and I will not be going elsewhere and I hope your wife is on the mend. X
Absolutely fantastic fish. My friend told me about this chippy as I live in Willenhall and don’t have any decent chippy. I had a large fish and cone of chips. No joke it was enough to feed two of us and still food left. Fish was beautiful and chips were nice too. I had to leave a review. My local chips are nasty and the reason they give is because of the weather this year, not enough water. But if Three Tuns can get nice potatoes I reckon my local one is just fobbing me off. You need to open one in Willenhal mate.
Really good food, fresh fish and chips, probably one of the best I’ve had in my time! And I’m from up north so that’s saying something! Would recommend to anyone looking for a new chippy.
Amazing food. Reasonably priced.hubby refused to eat from chippys until he tasted my chicken and chips from here freashly cooked brilliant service will only ever be using here from now on.... thank you p.s quote from hubby as he finished MY FOOD ...cracking chips lol ..
20 mins for 3 sausages and a large bag of chips??? I could've grown potatoes and cooked my own chips in that time! This chippy takes the p1ss!
Excellent value fish & chips. Always go when we visit Wolverhampton. Good tasting food and super portions.
Good value nice staff 5 star hygiene rating unlike one of the other comments I've never had a problem with how clean it is and have never seen any rats in there.
Consistent quality, high turnover so always fresh and relatively clean. Bargain prices and huge portions.
Great Chippy. Always freshly cooked and good portions.
