Won best Chinese restaurant in the UK. So my expectations we high. Personally, I was expecting more from the Wagyu Beef dish that Gordon Ramsay raved about and is listed on their menu. The service was great but the overall experience a bit pricey. We paid £170 for 3 beers, 2 starters, 2 mains and 1 desert. Parking was also very difficult, we had to abandon the car in a low lit dodgy car park next to the bins around the back.

Amazingly good food especially the black cod and wagyu beef. Friendly waiter, Posh interior, and most importantly the cocktails are great in terms of taste and portion. Must try: Lychee Martini :)

YU alderley edge Review of recent visit to YU restaurant Edge of town behind Piccolinos accessed down narrow cobbled street ladies in heels BEWARE passing restaurants bins. Enter by backdoor receptionist takes your coat upstairs to bar dimly lit with no real friendly welcome by staff. Tables very small mcdonalds style we felt squeezed in ,not very Asian themed. Food was very expensive and smallish portions served look warm duck was fatty ,crockery was low end no white lemonade only fever tree which when mixed tastes awful. 10% service charge you need your glasses to identify it on bill which is unusual for village restaurant and did not reflect the lackluster service. Cost 75 pounds per head without wine would not go back unfortunately
