Highly recommend using this company. Found this place through the online company, address was a bit tricky to find because google maps used via Uber. When we eventually found the place , the team was lovely. Very chatty and charming, explained the safety rules, and even helped us hit the target. Looks easy but can easily have an egg on your face.
Loved it - Took the kids 9-11 and they loved it more than I did. Our "guide" or gun expert was Bob, who was really good with the boys, explained the dos and donts, and before we knew it it we were all smashing clay in the sky. Highly recommended, highly professional, and extremely good fun. Google please add a sixth star for Yorkgate gun club
Great day out shooting today. The instructor was brilliant and made our day. Definitely recommend to anyone that would like to go shooting.
Went for my friends birthday and was honestly an amazing experience, instructors were clear and friendly, could not recommend more for people to try, cheers guys!!
Had a great time, staff were friendly, instructor was excellent and a brilliant Stag outing.
First time here a few weeks ago. Lovely staff. Very warm and friendly. They make you feel very safe with the shotgun and walk you through how to use it properly. Had a great time - Even got a free snack. My memory has let me down on this but I think it may have been a scotch egg. Either way, if I lived up that way I could see myself going a couple of times a month. Guys, thank you very much for a great day!
An exceptionally fun and engaging experience. The team were helpful and made my stag do and epic one. Also helped me achieve 23/30 which isn’t too bad either. If looking for a shooting experience it is definitely worth a try.
Booked a clay pigeon shoot for myself and some friends to try something different. We had a wonderful experience. We were warmly welcomed by the team and had a lesson with Mike. Mike made us all feel instantly at ease, explaining everything thoroughly and insuring the experience was one to remember. Thank-you to Mike and the team for a wonderful day, we will definitely be back. I would highly recommend Yorkgate Gun club to others, seasoned and beginners alike.
Top quality place, met 2 instructors so far and both were brilliant.
Great couple of hours spent for my stag do. Well worth the money and really welcoming staff. 25 clays with various difficulties. Good facilities up there and had pork pies and other food and soft drinks whilst you shoot.
