York Hall offers gym sessions and numerous classes, Yoga, Pilate, Body Pump, Body Conditioning, Dance Fitness, Zumba, Ballet Fit, Circuit Training, Aquarobics. You can access all for £39 per month, a great deal. Spa is reasonable £30 for a session. I love both wet and dry sauna, but my favourite one is Hamam! It’s so relaxing lying on warm stones. Swimming lessons and Swim For All sessions are available. The changing room wasn’t as nice as I wanted it to be when I used to take my children to the lessons. I hope it’s much cleaner now.
As someone who regularly attends Muay Thai and boxing events, York Hall stands out as a venue rich in history and atmosphere. The moment you step inside, you can feel the energy of countless legendary bouts that have taken place within its walls. The venue’s intimate setting brings you close to the action, allowing you to witness every punch, kick, and clinch up close. It’s an experience that few places can replicate. The seating arrangement ensures good views from almost any angle, whether you're ringside or in the upper tiers. Despite being a historic venue, York Hall maintains a raw, authentic vibe, which adds to the excitement of the fight nights. The atmosphere is electric, with passionate fight fans creating a buzz that heightens as each round progresses. For Muay Thai and boxing enthusiasts, this is a spot that combines both great fights and a sense of community among combat sports fans. York Hall is a true gem, consistently delivering memorable fight nights. Whether it’s your first time or you're a regular like me, it never disappoints.
Used to be great until it was taken over by Tower Hamlets council. The gym is now significantly more expensive and the service provided is a lot worse. The booking process is extremely difficult to navigate and the app and website often do not work.
Went to see the Luche Libre Wrestling event Amazing time had by all and it was such an amazing older building. Easy to get to and the staff were great.
Such a great way of stealing money . Absolute disappointment! I got a membership only because of swimming classes. I had booked my swimming class online, drive 20 min to the gym and when I came in the member of staff said that there is no classes and the swimming pool is permanently closed. Highly no recommended! Do not waste your money for it.
Went for boxing last night , my missus got front row seats which included a free bar ! The boxing was brilliant, really good and respect to the fighters , the free was a joke , no spirits and warm beer , the front row seats are great but anyone can stand next to you , so I had coked up idiots screaming for there mate in mates
Easily the best London venue for Indy wrestling. RevPro put on great shows here where security is understanding for standing spectators yet thorough on admittance for searches. The bar could have more choice and less watered down pints but there's plenty of bars nearby
Visit York Hall for the boxing on the 9th of September 2017 fantastic venue great views where ever you sit. Drinks are quite expensive but the food offer is no badly price had a stake burger £4.00 was really nice. The venue could have done with a few more bar staff as it did take a very long time to get a drink at the bar .apart from that great
Turned up with my children for pre-booked swimming lessons only to find the building closed. No email warning, no telephone call, no answer to my calls. Kids crying. No apology and a refusal to refund the lesson. When you contact the centre, you're fobbed off and told to contact Tower hamlets Council. Awful service.
Visited for a wrestling event. It was a new experience for me. I will always remember it. Easy place to find, close to the tube station and great for events. The toilets were clean even though there were a lot of people in the hall.
