One of the better hostels I've stayed in. Efficient and friendly staff. Very clean. Well organized. Excellent location. And good value. Each bunk is equipped with a power outlet and USB ports. YHA London St Paul's is also a good option if you have an early outbound flight and don't want to splurge on a hotel room when you'd only be using it for a few hours.

My favourite London hostel and as always in any YHA, the room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfy and the ambience was friendly. I booked a few days in advance and found a bargain, so treated myself to a private room for 2 nights. This place has character and you get to tell the time by listening out for the cathedral bells. The only downside is the lack of a kitchen for guests to use. The carrot cake on the coffee and cake deal was delicious. I'll be back!

Booked a 4 bed private room with a couple of friends. The room was clean and tidy nd what I expected. The staff were absolutely amazing. So kind and friendly and always seemed to very happy to help.

I was not impressed by the hostile customer service of Winnie. It marred what I thought was going to be a relaxing stay. No qualms with other staff who were kind. But, having stayed at some great places in the past, and having enjoyed good conversations with guests during this stay, it left me feeling unhappy. Customer service should always, always be friendly, particularly when the individual on the other side of the counter, the customer, is always polite and courteous.

Organisation of rooms was altered for our group on a couple of occasions and the staff at the desk were unsure of the size of rooms which made the first evening hard work. The food in the morning was great and packed lunches provided. Rooms not great. Couple of items left in some rooms from previous guests
