The venue is superb, and nice reconstruction (1998) to the previously burnt down original. Highly recommend attending a live showing (usually at 7:30pm, with some days also at 2:30pm). We were able to get tickets on the day, and got the standing for the full experience and was a bargain of £5 each. The show was spectacular (attended As You Like It - comedy). The performers interaction were great and made it eventful; standing area you are close to the stage and can see the whole building up close. Bear in mind the performance is 2.5 hours long and there is an interval in between, so some people may want to get seats. Also we were lucky and it was a nice day that day (I would personally avoid if it was raining that day). The staff were friendly, patient and helpful with all queries. Highly recommend for locals and tourists to visit at least once.

Really great visit. Definitely worth going on a guided tour, get so much more information than if you went on your own. I did the tour by myself in a group of randoms but the tour guide was really good in getting everyone to feel comfortable. The information inside is also amazing. Highly recommend it.

I like the Swan, it's a lovely place with impeccable interiors, food and service. I've been for a brunch, a roast and an evening dinner and would recommend the brunch over the other meals I've tried. It's easily the most affordable and you'll leave satisfied, though the others are great too if you're looking to splash out a bit more!

Went to Shakespeare’s Globe during my short stay in London for the Little Match Girl which is an amazing play. The team is not very big but every artist has had an excellent performance by demonstrating different talents and worked so well as a team! I love this ‘unplugged’ type of performance and it’s always exciting to see a bit of creative and modern twist on the original story. Would highly recommend!

We had a great time on the tour, our guide made it fun and educational. Wish there were an opportunity to see a show, even a brief skit. It was early April, so weather was a potential issue, and they were doing some minor construction to the stage. Maybe next time.
