Beautiful Sephardic synagogue of the Spanish & Portugese Hebrew congregation. Built in 1701 and include candelabra presented at the time by the Great Synagogue in Amsterdam. The oldest surviving synagogue in the United Kingdom. Though in the East end still well attended especially at High Holidays.

Superb synagogue - the oldest in London. A lot of history, tradition and struggle of acceptance in the British society. I didn't go in a tour but the book/guide was exceptional. Friendly and supportive staff. I strongly recommend
