Good location. Nice cosy converted farmhouse. Comfortable lounge with open fire. Communal kitchen double rooms or dorms. Clean toilets and warm showers. Bring ear plugs as soundproofing is not great. Woken couple of times with doors shutting or fans in toilets. You can start most walks into the hills from the hostel. 4 miles from Brecon.

Good value Well appointed hostel. With a kitchen for communal use as well as a lounge area with a wood burner in a large fireplace. There are a few board games to keep you entertained and the reception serves beer. However the beers are only bottled and very expensive. They do provide bedding at no extra cost which is unusual for YHA's I've stayed in before. They serve breakfast at additional cost which includes a continental style buffet and a full English. Parking is minimal and not very close to the hostel however there is a small area you can pull up to unload but you have to move your car to park overnight. Also the drying rooms quickly fill up with people's gear in the wet weather so don't be the last ones of the mountain!

Really friendly place and a high standard for the price paid. Stayed in a pod which had a heated floor and really comfy beds. Would definately go back

Perfect hostel where is big kitchen and livingroom. There are clean and it is in beautiful area.

We booked a fiur bed room. The beds were very comftable l, it even cured one guy's snoring. The staff were vwry friendly and were happy to help on anything. Will stop there again.
