Tired in places, not clean, blood stains on bedding and alot of notices everywhere. To many personnel photos. Nothing of quality.Rooms: 3/5

Watch out for low ceilings!!  Kitchen not very well equipped old, no non stick left on pans and had a small fridge for 4 people. Getting hot water was fiddly as had to keep overriding heating programmes to get it to work. This isn't ideal when you are trying to have a relaxing holiday.  The shower was also rather dodgy, but the bath was nice.  Wifi in the cottage is patchy and you can't get signal everywhere.  Single bed wasn't very comfortable and one of our party had to sleep on the sofa.  Nice quiet location and a great farm shop in Chettle, which is a 30 min pleasant walk from the cottage.
