Couldn’t fault my dinner tonight. I had squid to start which was brilliantly cooked. Tender and tasty. I’ve never had chicken cooked so well out. It was superb. I’m gutted I’m only in the area one night because I would love to eat here again. And to add the staff were all absolutely lovely.
Friendly local pub! The home made chips more like wedges are fab!
Stopped by for a quick meal with the kids. Very friendly and helpful staff and some great food. We had a great time and loved the halloween decorations. See you again soon!
Went for lunch with my son & grandson. We were given a lovely welcome from the owner. She told us she'd been there about 4 years and last year had a play are built. Also, a bouncy castle. My grandson enjoyed playing. Our meals were freshly cooked and we didn't wait long. The food was tasty and well presented. I would go again and recommend a visit.
Great food and a lovely atmosphere from an independent pub.
The staff were nice and friendly, very limited menu. As an eating place not a lot of atmosphere. Was more a pub/disco vibe which is fine if that's what you're looking for. The meal was very mediocre.
We didn't have food this time but we had drinks and one of my pints was in a glass with colourful things on it. Can't remember what they were because I'd had a few by then but the drinks are very reasonably priced
The pub has just recently undergone some refurbishment. The outdoor area is great for kids as it has a good sized play area. There is a big gazebo to sit in if needed. The food is reasonably priced. The quality of the food was surprising, the burgers are great and the chunky chips fantastic.
Great pub, very friendly staff
I had a veggie burger and the owner was also a veggie so you could tell she had tested out the different veggie burgers to get the best one to serve in her pub. She was very lovely and very attentive. She talked to us about the paintings on the wall that her family had painted for her. It was overall a very nice experience!
