Hidden away from the main roads this is a great Sheffield local. Lovely pub serving great real ale. Outdoor seating for the odd warm day. Large games room. Proper community pub well worth finding.
Called for a pint with a group of friends on saturday lunch time. There was a band setting up and getting ready to play live music in the evening. I parked on the street ...not sure if parking is available at the pub. Prices were reasonable. Friendly service in an old fashion traditional pub.
Well...just 5 mins from me, but a special find. I've just moved here from Essex and the bar manager was attentive, gracious, polite and engaging. It even has a 3/4 size snooker table. It's clearly a locals pub, but this is a compliment...it's not restricted to locals, but clearly cherished by them and rightly so.
Just moved in down the road and popped in for a drink after an exhausting day of unpacking. A proper local. Served by who I am assuming is the landlady, who was fantastically friendly and welcoming. Good mix of customers - just hope there's always a seat!

Great pub one of my locals up in Sheffield, always full of friendly people and certainly friendly staff. It's a bit Off the Beaten Track but definitely worth checking out. Very old school old fashioned style to it, which makes it more cosy and inviting if you ask me. I like it, check it out.
Nice friendly locall pub... Nice selection of beer. Plenty of seating inside and out. Great if you want a cheeky pint before moving onto restaurants in area... Also great if you fancy dropping anchor and having a few.
Busy even on a Monday, perhaps due to the approachable quiz that was on. Traditional pub atmosphere with good mix of old and young. Snooker table retained. An excellent effort from a backstreet pub which many won't know about.
