One of hulls best kept secrets and the current landlady and her partner are such good hosts.
I have drank in this pub for years always very friendly and it went without saying best beer in the town unfortunately we are told we have to drink what the owner says puts prices up ok but then takes out the best selling beer I think he needs to get a life or retire . Fom one millionaire to another get it sorted!!!

Love the history , the feeling of a real pub
It's a quiet pub if you want to go out for a talk but if you want a lively night this is not the pub for you. Think the no mobile ban is ridiculous.
Proper pub, friendly staff and patrons actually talking to each other. Great choice of beer.
