Y Talbot Tregaron

A very nice pub/bar in Tregaron. Went there for lunch with my parents, wife and son and the menu was varied and very nice with a good selection from both the main menu and the kid's menu. The kid's menu also had a picture to colour on the other side; lots of these were covering one wall which highlights the family friendly feel. Service was fast and friendly and the food very nice. They seemed to go a bit overboard with the peas with the cottage pie, but you don't have to eat them all I suppose. The ketchup being in little glass jars was completely unnecessary, it was annoying having to use a knife to empty five or so into my son's plate so he had enough, but that is just a minor gripe on an otherwise lovely meal. Highly recommend.

I called in for a lunchtime pint to break up a trip to the area. The sun was shining so I sat on an outside bench and watched the world go by as I shipped the very nice guest beer. Friendly faces behind the bar and a nice atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Always the best pub in the village. Real ales, and good food. I've called here for three decades. It is still the same characterful pub,. Newly refurbished rooms make it a better option than ever for a stay.

What a fantastic pub, The staff are so friendly and helpful, they cannot do enough for you, the food is second to none and the beer is always cold, we have now made it our local and just love it, thankyou all , cheers Jim n tracey

A lovely traditional country hotel with bar and restaurant. Have yet to try the food in the evening but lunch in the pub was great, they also have a well curated selection of Welsh ciders and real ales. The staff are friendly and professional and the pub is dog friendly too.. highly recommended!
