This gym is a bit of a mix bag. Has its positives but equally its down side too. To start with the positives its a spacious gym, lots of parking and with a good variety of equipment. It has a good size free-weights area, a UFC, boxing ring and a studio gym within. And without prejudice the downsides outweigh the former. The staff usually have their head stuck in their mobile phones - so you'll be lucky to get a greeting as you enter. More privacy screens are required in the changing area and toilets are not enough. The gym boasts over 120 car parking spots, 40 spinning bikes and so on yet they have TWO toilets, TWO showers and TWO sinks male side; and half the time they're out of use. Another major drawback is the temperature control of the premises. In winter, its an igloo; in the summer it's a greenhouse and when its rainy it's great for the fish and ducks. And finally maintenance of the premises is poor. The company are resisting temptations and threats for remedial work. In fact it took almost 3 months to replace lights in the gym. I prompted a member of staff of potential health and safety issues as large parts of the gym was dim because at one point only 1 out of 9 lights was functional. The reply was, ''Well, it's been past fit by our health and safety team''. I have pics of the lights AND a recording of this conversation : Lets see if they can sort out staff and maintenance in 2019.
the best equipped gym I've ever been. If you like variety and space then this is the place to go. Hassle free environment where you simply work out. Compering to Gym4All and other gyms this is the one I have nothing bad to say. Good value for money and best possibly equipment you can get.
Have great equipment, however a member of staff won't mention name helped me cancel my membership or so i thought, but found out that i was still being charged for 5 months after. Got no refund even though i never went to the gym for them 5 months and was told there is no evidence i cancelled. Lack of staff administration, did not help out whatsoever, do not recommend this gym. Just like to make their money by getting people to join
Dont join this gym if you want a stress-free life. This gym will make your life miserable if you try to cancel your membership. Even with valid reasons, they'll refuse to accept your cancellation request. If you ring their landlines number, you'll be forwarded to a voice mail. There is nothing good in thus gym! Don't waste your money.
So crap I froze my membership before Ramadan and they charged me £5 saying that I will have to pay the Ramadan month but the next month I get free. The next month I acknowledged they were still charging me membership and staff told me they did nothing wrong because I was supposed to give them a 12 day notice even though they charged me £5 to freeze it instead of the 12 day notice. Do not recommend this gym to anyone it's always cold and there are many leaks as well as machines being out of order for months. Update: I just scrolled down and the same sort of thing has happened to other members and the gym is even being taken to court because of their scams. Please avoid this gym.
Gym well equipped and with big spaces Customer service is absolutely terrible, I paused my membership whilst on holidays as allowed on contract and the guy who took my filled and signed request forgot to process it, leaving me with a fine of £69 that I had to pay for the harlands debt collection team. Gym manager Danny never lifted a finger to assist regardless of the many numbers I called and visited at the branch to ask for help. Broken equipment take ages to be fixed I am talking several months
Bradford gym Awful gym Iv turned up a number of times and the classes are not running. Changing rooms are dirty. Ripped carpets Dirty water fountain Cold and roof leaks when raining. Staff are unprofessional. Looks run down and badly managed. Iv left my number for the manager a couple of times due to ongoing issues no response. No longer a members due bad management of the gym, this use to be a nice gym.
Superb "no frills" gym. All equipment is brand new and there is copious amounts of space so even at busy times the gym looks quite empty. Price is reasonable.....would have received 5* if it wasnt for the costly mandatory initial session with an instructor! My advice is to bargain hard on price till you are satisfied...
Been going to the gym for a week. Equipment is good however the free weights section is a bit tight. More importantly though they need security in this gym. Too many hyped up lads want to be a gangster. Fight broke out in the gym and it was like a riot. People punching and screaming then phone calls being made and outside lads walking into the gym to fight whilst the staff hid behind a desk waiting for police to turn up. Either get some security or get some proper staff who can control the crowd.
Lots of equipment not working, water fountain been out 6/7 months, roof leaks in more than several places hence buckets everywhere and to top it off no heating yes no heating so in winter it's colder than outside! When discussed with the manager all I got was "we're working on it, these things take time." Oh yeah one more thing spin class is rubbish, the lady needs to find herself a new job. Want to be positive and feel like I should say something positive.....mmmmmm........ its got nice carpet?!?!
