I brought my 2 kids here and I have left after 3 sessions. You can’t watch your hold comfortably, the instructors make them stretch and warm up for 40 minutes and play duck duck goose for 10 minutes for many of the sessions. The waiting room is shabby and not enough seating, the cloakroom with the window where you can sneakily watch your child smells of sweaty feet and I have been asked not to watch / get in the way. On nearly every lesson the instructors kept disappearing and getting teach sheets and quite frankly they looked clueless. I won’t go on…. But I will say that my cancellation email has not been acknowledged. So rude and sums up gym magic. Avoid!! I go somewhere nearby now run by a famous gymnast and it is phenomenal!!!
Took my youngest here on a Friday morning for one of their free toddler sessions. After a little apprehensiveness from the child, he ended up having a great time.nJumping, bouncing, balancing and climbing - perfect to tire out a little tyke.nnIt was a little hard to find in amongst the industrial estate Google Maps wasn't the best on this occasion, and there isn't much in the way of parking, but for a free session it was great.
My daughter has attended here since she was 2 years old. She is now a confident 10 year old thanks to the help of the coaches and her team mates. She loves everything about Gym Magic and the friendships she has made over the years will stay with her forever.
My child really liked the gym, however the owner is rather rude and erratic. I had a general query about my bill to which I was then escorted with my child to a room where I was asked why I am never happy. I had never complained or had any previous issues there so was thrown off by the question. It escalated all very unnecessarily and very inappropriately, when all I had done is ask why I had been charged more than expected and this was all done in front of my child who was getting upset. It turned out I hadn't gotten the email explaining the fee as this was sent just before we started and the email sent just prior to the increased bill included incorrect information so communication was very confusing and to be confronted in such a way when I asked about it was very unprofessional.nThe waiting room is also quite shabby and chaotic. I would avoid and find another club.
100% recommended for any parent considering gymnastics for their kids in Leeds. Our daughter has progressed up to the National group after moving from another Leeds club to get the best coaching available. Great work all at gym Magic !!!
