I love wythenshawe Park I love taking my boy to see the animals and the fish and the botanical Gardens. Then we sit in the picnic area for a little. Bit before going into the hollow to relax in the warmth. The park has a play area and a pond you can try to spot voles in (not to sure what a vole is?) but hey must be fun for kids. They have a bee keeping society and stuff so yeah seems cool x

Lovely place to take the dog for a walk. He had a great time and so did we. We parked in the main car park which is close to a basic toilet block for which I was grateful, these closed around 5pm though. Also close to the childrens play area. Lots of things going on and was quite busy. Friendly people and a pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon, we were there for around 2 hours.

Its a great place to take your children as there is a petting farm, big playground with lots of equipment and a cafe, shop, gardens, tennis courts and toilets. Its also a good place to take your dog for a good run around.

Great park with large kids play area, gardens , cafe and small farm. Often an ice cream van so bring change! Best feature is the free all-weather tennis courts (just need to book online) which are fantastic. Real shame the pitch and putt has been abandoned, it was a great place for kids to learn golf. Woodhouse/Pinky park will do the job instead

I use the park regularly for a walk as it's a super park as it's maintained as best as possible with the council cutbacks. Ideally it needs more funding but do not let it deter you from visiting as it's a wonderful place to visit and enjoy the tranquility.
