Beautiful water and nature park. Wonderful amount of wildlife to see and fishing available on the pond. What makes this more amazing is the fact that only 30 years ago this was a land fill dump for Manchester. On-site cafe and roomy car park make this w great place to spend a couple of hours.

Lovely, scenic and calm place in the city but a place away from traffic. Unfortunately , the state of the public toilets is catastrophic. The Council is blind..... It high time to close toilets for week or so and do a proper redevelopment. In summer time 4pm closure time is ok???? What about parents with children. A cafe would be lovely too. Welcome in 21 century. The toilets are bespoke in art-of-state way. Eco-friendly the time closing in the summer time and superior health&safety environment. Top banana well done council of Manchester.

Great walk around the water park on a cold but bright and sunny February morning . Great playground excellent pathways and parking. Paths are good and fairly dry. The only downside is the usual irresponsible dog walkers who don't notice when their dogs poop but you get that in most places. Ice cream man available not sure if you can get a hot drink anywhere but very enjoyable.

A pleasant water park to have an afternoon walk. Lots of wild bird varieties for the enthusiast or plenty of spaces for those who just want to sit and watch the world go by. Can get busy as very popular with the locals.

Can't fault this place. Great place to walk, cycle or jog. Dogs welcome, family orientated, lots of benches, kids play park, ice cream van when the weather is nice. Recreation on the marina available at certain times of year. Lots of other connecting walks you can do down the river Mersey.
