We visited Wyndham House at Borough Market on my birthday, and I was pleased to discover it was the lovely lady’s birthday too who was working there! We ordered two of The Wraps, and mooched down the road to eat them away from the hustle and bustle of the market. They were absolutely DELICIOUS. Honestly the best thing I’ve ever eaten, and I would go all the way back there just to have this again. Thank you so much & I hope you had a good birthday
Good but normal and nothing special. overpriced and overrated. Also the rapping lady is a bit of rude that she asked 'chilli sauce adding' to other people but she didn't ask it to me. Actually I am Asian so it might be understandable occasionally for some cases but so bias behaviours. And no kind greeting from her. Poor service for other people except white. Not recommend.
It used to be great, but now it's half the size and double the price it used to be. £9 for a few pieces of shredded chicken in a wrap is extortionate.
I ordered chicken burger, honestly it’s quite average but generous portion with fresh chicken meat. The service is good. It’s nice to try it but it’s not something that I would miss.
Extremely rude service. We ordered online for a time-slotted pick up and found the shop opposite Fish! restaurant. After asking the first staff member where to pick up, he first shook his head and refused to help even if there were no one else present. After pressing on he eventually said to pick up around the corner to the left where there were 2-3 more staff members present. We waited in the queue for 15 minutes and noticed that they didn't really have any hygiene routines between taking payment and handling food. When it finally came to our turn there was a lot of confusion as she looked at her books and tried to find our order. In the end she mumbled that we need to go to a completely different part of the market for pick ups - despite the instructions on the email clearly stating that we are to pick up from Wyndham House Poultry, stand no. 29 on Bedale Street. She then started grumbling angrily and walked ahead of us towards a completely different part of the market where the Good 60 people are - and told another lady there about us, and held a hand sign for a gun to her head, before blowing it !! behind my back - which my partner saw - before storming off angrily back to her shop. This was by far the worst user experience we've ever had at Borough Market, because: 1. The email instructions were extremely unclear and told us to pick up at the wrong place 2. There were 2-3 staff members at one end chatting to each other, refusing to help, who then pointed us at the wrong direction 3. The terrible experience with the angry lady and her rude hand gestures If we hadn't pre-paid for the goods online we would not have bought anything from this shop. Will definitely avoid in future.
For its price a very good meal, my feelings are mixed, without any line I've waited for some time just to be asked for my order.
Good service but terrible food, I've got sick from the chicken burger.
You paid 40 pounds for 2 lunch at 25 pounds but the seller dont return your money. Dont go there if you want to keep your cash
We ordered "chicken and chips" for £10.50. For the price, we were originally expecting something much bigger and more impressive looking, but it ended up being pretty tasty. We didn't notice any crispy chicken skin!! so perhaps they forgot to put it in, but enjoyed the stuffing and sweet chili sauce; the chicken and chips part were pretty standard/average. Not very unique overall relative to some of the other offerings at Borough Market, though, so prioritize accordingly :
Really quick service with under 5 minutes. During lunch time. Ordered "the wrap" on a tortilla. At 9 pounds its a bit expensive but it fully stuffed and delicious.
