Really good food. We went with a mixed group… some vegan and some carnivorous. Everyone loved the food. Really welcoming staff. Had a fantastic evening. Strongly recommend The Wuthering Heights.
Lovely place to stop for a Sandwich and beer during our walk. Handpull beer was excellent so had to try all of them. Very nice indeed. Sandwich and chips was very hearty and filling. Dog friendly and made our boy very welcome . Really enjoyed our brief stop over here.Service: 5/5
We were visiting Haworth for my daughter's birthday and so I chose a place to eat nearby. I went solely on the reviews I read online and was not disappointed. There were 8 of us so I preordered the food a few days before. The reason we chose this place is because it offered a full vegan menu as well as meat dishes and vegetarian. We are a mixture of committed carnivores, vegans and vegetarians so having such a varied choice to suit all tastes and preferences was fantastic. I knew from reading the reviews that the food was going to be good so didn't have any doubts that we were in for a treat. We arrived at about 5.30pm after a soggy afternoon in Haworth and were shown into the dining room which had a log burner providing much needed warmth to our party. Everything was served promptly by our host. Special mention goes for the vegan tempura vegetables with sriracha mayo and the garlic mushrooms in creamy Wensleydale sauce. From the mains, there was a delicious fish pie, the vegetarian Eden Pie with cheesy mash topping and the Steak Guinness and Mushroom plate pie. On the vegan front the burgers and fries were absolutely delicious! A few of us had room for dessert and all of them were wonderful, from the Ginger Sponge and Custard to the Chocolate Brownie with Ice cream. The portions of everything were generous and everyone was very happy with their choice. The ambience of the pub is wonderfully cosy and I think I can join with a lot of the other reviewers and say that The Wuthering Heights inn is an absolute gem of a place. Curious I asked the staff who was working the bar as well as serving us our food why there were so many choices for Vegans as well as Gluten Free dishes, He explained that the people who ran the pub had a friend who was a vegan and they wanted to have a menu that all could enjoy, I asked the staff to pass on our thanks. As we left he said 'Hope to see you again!' The answer to that is 'Oh yes you will, without a shadow of a doubt.' I'll be back at the Wuthering Heights Inn some time to warm myself by the fire or when the days become longer sit outside and watch the sunset like Emily, Charlotte and Anne once did,
Fish and chips to die for, great service very pleasant bar staff. Real ale, largers. Spirits, tea, coffee ,camping with a great view. Best in yorkshire.
