Wrens Nest

When I was a kid, me and my friends used to go here to dig up fossils. After all millions of years ago it was a seabed and under water. Still a great place for kids who like to explore. Ideal for that young archaeologist in the making.

Good place to take the kids for fossil hunting but unfortunately there is no parking or any other facilities for that matter. Just go prepared and have fun.

THE CAVES HAVE BEEN FILLED IN! Went over here with the children and dogs and it was a really good walk. The kids and dogs loved the adventure. They particularly liked looking for the Fossils. They where very excited to see the 7 Sisters caves - took a 2 hours walk and ended up being very disappointed because the caves has been filled in. All that effort for nothing! Nothing to see!

Had a great walk around the wrens nest, With a guide named Paul floyed. Embarrassed to say I live on the door step but never been to this gem of a place. I would recommend this walk to anybody. There are a few steep inclines and steps. I also recommend use a guide Paul was informative and entertaining.

Lovely site to visit, great for looking for some fossils if you don't mind getting a bit muddy.
