I had a MVA Procedure in the gynae department recently after a very unfortunate silent miscarriage. The gynaecologist team Jolie, Anna and another lady who were in the room with me during treatment were incredible!! Btw after discovering the miscarriage, they were able to book me in the very next day! Scanned me again to confirm then offered me all the options for next steps. Jolie was very sympathetic of what I was going through, they all were. They talked me through the procedure before starting and advise what I can expect along the way. 10/10! Sadly, at the end of the procedure, I half fainted, body went into shock and my blood pressure dropped significantly and heart rate was low. I don't know what happened exactly but I can hear how quickly and professionally they all acted and had the emergency team in the room saving my life immediately. There are no words to describe how incredible that is. I fully trust my life in the hands of Worthing Hospital doctors and nurses. You guys really are super hero's, and no 10/10 review can justify my deepest appreciation.nI stayed in recovery most of the day until I felt better to go home. The nurse's kept monitoring my progress and blood pressure throughout the day hourly. Hopefully I will get pregnant again soon, so I can be back here but on more happier terms. Thank you Worthing hospital.
I am overwhelmed by the wonderfulness of my experience today at Worthing Hospital A&E and other bits!. The staff are, without exception, fantastic. SO kind, so caring, so nurturing and so professional. I am 49yo and have had many bad experiences with the medical profession - this was the first time I have ever felt held and looked after. I am absolutely in awe of the entire place. The atmosphere is one of celebrating life. PS I've just read a review below that stated there are no sanitisers. That is categorically untrue. Nor does any member of staff sit around doing nothing. :-/
My mother was recently admitted to Worthing Hospital following a fall at her care home. From the moment I arrived, I was met with helpful and welcoming administrative staff who guided me through the process.nnMum was taken to A&E, and given her complex health conditions—COPD and dementia—I knew her treatment would not be straightforward. Despite the department being extremely busy, the staff remained attentive, compassionate, and respectful at all times.nnTheir dedication and kindness made a challenging day much more bearable. I am truly grateful for the care and support they provided to both my mother and our family.nnThank you for everything you did for us today—it was deeply appreciated.
I was taken in in February 2025 with a kidney infection, unfortunately I'm needle phobia but the young lad he was brilliant with me and I didn't know it was done.nUnfortunately I had to stay in 4 days to have a kidney stent put in, I have to admit that she dr's and nurses was fantastic, I was told what to do when a nurse pulled out my tube with my catheter bag was going to be removed. I can't fault them,
My recent fractured ankle led me into a completely eye-opening experience. I'd experienced the hospital from the perspective of an accompanying visitor when my husband had been an in-patient, but nothing quite prepares you for your own experience.nEverybody - Paramedics, A and E staff, UTC staff, Radiographers, Physiotherapy, Chanctonbury Ward Staff, Doctor, Surgeon, Anaesthetist, Surgical team, Theatre staff, Outpatient staff, Porters, Volunteers who came to chat with me, and the lovely lady in Reception who grabbed a wheelchair for me whenever she saw me hobbling in with my walking frame - was pleasant, helpful, patient and professional.nAnd finally, a big thank you to the plaster room staff for their help, humour and advice, and especially Steve for adjusting my very painful cast I was terrified that it was damaging my foot and I was almost at the point of hacking it off myself at short notice, on a busy fracture clinic afternoon.nEverybody helped to make my experience more bearable - thank you so much.
