A lovely little park, we've only lived in Horley for 30 years and didn't even know of this place. Well maintained and easy access to walk around the lake, a heavenly place to live however the housing estates surrounding the gardens which were once part of a private estate spoils the beauty. Car park spaces are limited.
Very open lovely garden's, place was built during victorian times. Great place to come and walk the dog or simply time to ones self. Free plus parking limited and toilet facilities including disabled. Tea/coffee wagon out the front with some seating, there are plenty of places in the gardens too. Well kept and no littering anywhere. Busy times are between 11am and 1pm check on Google before going because parking could become difficult, but people leave all the time so shouldn't have to wait long if you do.
I was disappointed, they do allow dogs in but bear in mind that you won't be able to access buildings, understandably, but also many parts of the gardens, which was very disappointing. The tickets are not cheap and I'd advise not bringing your furry friend, if you want to justify the price.
