This is my local running route and despite being in the centre of town it always seems safe and a nice place to be. The playing fields and the skatepark are always busy and the woods are in great condition with lots of wildlife to look out for.
Skate park is good although always busy so for beginners it's not as easy to go around safely. There isn't much of a play park and no local toilets.
Always love going here to walk my dog. The woods have huge iron age charcoal pits which kids big and small ride their bikes in and out of.
My place for playing tennis. Absolutely love what they have done to the courts with the upgrade. Job well done Crawley Council. Book online, come and play and enjoy a clean, well looked after court. I absolutely love playing tennis and with all the upgrades that has been done, makes the game even more enjoyable.
Would be great if the scooter kids and Mums had some park etiquette. Also be really nice if the 'Male Visitors' staying at the hotel over the road didn't constantly video peoples children, so beware Mums and Dads keep an eye on whos pointing what at your kids, they normally face them and pretend they are on a video call holding the phone towards children or tracking them...BEWARE.
