Great golf course, was a tad bit boggy in areas when we played but I’d guess now we are hitting summer, the course will be in fine condition. Greens were super quick and ran true. Can get very busy and can be slow at times but just depends when you book society days etc. Really accommodating staff in the pro shop too.

I played here yesterday as part of a Bonvoy experience day with Rick Shiels. Fortunately the course dried out fully in the last week and was in good condition given the amount of rain this year. I have to say, we were very well looked after by Paul and the team- made to feel welcomed and no ask was too small for the team here to manage. Thank you for your hospitality and look forward to returning if I am up in the area again!

Stayed a weekend at the Marriot and played 3 rounds. Staff could'nt have been better or more accommodating. My friend got delayed and they did everything they could to rearrange tee times etc. The course itself was in great condition and even though it rained the green remained true and there was little or no standing water. Also the sausage roll at the halfway house is a must!!

Outstanding hotel, best breakfast and dinner I’ve had on a golfing trip. Course is great, unfortunately we came in march which was about a month too early with the amount of rain we’ve had but the greens were brilliant.

Fantastic experience here yesterday evening. Really nice touch getting greeted by your name on the first tee and getting an overview of the course provided too  Looking forward to next time!

After watching Rick Sheils promote this club, we thought we would give it a try, only to be bitterly disappointed. We weren't advised that we needed winter wheels and we DEFINITELY were not told someone would be joining us. Although they didn't actually show. Overpriced golf shop with young petulant kids. The course marshall asked the same question three times about what time we were teeing off, after turning up early we were shepherded on like sheep, when we wanted to use the putting green first. The course was massively overcrowded with tees every 6 minutes. Rude and unapologetic member's, who didn't repair pitch marks and blamed the players in front for their own slow play. The course was absolutely saturated. Lost balls in fairways and pretty hazardous under foot in most areas, but the green bar the point articulated above, where in good condition and played well. A two year waiting list for an overpriced ripped up course is astonishing! Sadly it seems a place to be seen and affiliated with, rather than members taking a positive approach to looking after their own course. Save your money! We certain will "never" play here again. If we hadn't paid £35, we would have walked off after 9!

Stunning course and clubhouse facilities. Tricky but fair, with great greens.

Great golf course played 1st time and would definitely return

if only I caught the name of the athletic dog walker who I hope wasn't too startled  when she stepped out
