It's a Wetherspoons so you get good beer at decent prices and inexpensive eating. Also has a great outdoor terrace for the summer. It would rate higher but never has enough staff.

Very nicely refurbed with a lovely beer garden to the rear. Food is served until 11pm but it's not great. Avoid the steak. Very friendly staff and service with a smile

Great family pub with an open fire lit when it's cold , lovely outdoor seating area too, great food and real ales, ilive coming here for breakfast.

Food was good, staff were friendly. Maybe it was just me, but the two real ales that I tried tasted slightly sour. Back in my own local Wethies and all tastes good. Maybe there is not a huge turnover of real ale.
