Decent plate in a nice environment. This is a clean, well appointed pub with a good menu and early week offers Mon and Tues. I had a mixed grill with a decent sized rump steak, gammon, sausages and egg. Chunky chips were crisp and tasty too...only grumble was the chicken which was a little bland although well cooked.
We love the place, the food is lovely, staff are very friendly and real. what you see is what you get The pub is dog friendly, bonus. It's the main attraction when looking for a place to eat that let's dogs in. The place looks so nice on arrival now it's had a re vamp. The deco is so cosy and yet rustic and botanical style. Just lovely. Lots of finishing touches that are welcoming The dog can sit anywhere in the pub now They have phone stations to charge mobiles too if needed. Fab stuff
Lovely place! The food is fantastic very good value for money! Food was beautiful couldn't fault. The staff were lovely. Very friendly and welcoming. Would 100% recommend! Will be back again soon!
LOVE IT!! New pub, new owners, totally amazing. Read a few bad reviews about the place since opening but wanted to visit anyway and so glad we did. Myself and 5 friends visited this evening & wow did we enjoy ourselves. The food was great, the singer was a nice touch and created the perfect atmosphere and of course the 2-4-1 cocktails just topped everything off. The staff were all in great spirits and dressed up for Oktoberfest which was great to see, normally staff can be so miserable in places, certainly not here! Really can’t wait to come back & have taken a few brochures for Christmas
Met family there for a meal. First time we've been and it was lovely. The lady at the bar moved a table around for us so we could have a high chair for my grandson as there were no other larger tables available. The service was quick and the food was excellent. All the staff were friendly and polite.
Fantastic lunch at a great price too! Myself and a couple of friends popped in for a bite to eat after seeing the place was re-open. Great decor, food & service will be back soon
Lovely clean pub serving excellent food. I had a steak which was perfectly cooked and excellent value for money. The beer is served in proper glasses and the staff are pleasant and very helpful.
FANTASTIC! The place looks amazing following the refurb and from what I’m told there’s more to be done! Visited twice already and both times it’s been packed which is exactly what the pub needs. The staff were great with a drinks selection to match. There was a slight issue with wife’s food but this was soon sorted, seen a bit of bad feedback, it’s the opening weekend, give these guys a break can’t wait to come back!
Love the refurb - Place looks so much better than before. Only been in for a drink but definitely going to come back and bring the pooch now dog’s are allowed and welcome! Good menu looks better than before with more choice so can’t wait to come back.
As expected - Good value for money and family friendly. Don’t get me wrong the food won’t win Michelin stars but your not paying for that. Good standard pub food done well!
