We go Tuesdays and Fridays. We are served by Jo and Tracy. You could not ask for better service and brilliant atmosphere they create. We have never had a bad meal in all the time we have been going.Food: 4/5

Had a fantastic Gyros at The Highfield! Really tasty and fresh, the staff were super friendly especially Chris the PM. He made us feel really welcome and valued in the pub. We will definitely be returning and have already recommended to multiple people! 10/10!Food: 5/5
Really good full English breakfast, very good value. Nice surroundings and friendly staff. This pub also does vegan options which my daughter and son-in-law enjoyed. The issue is that they don't serve alternative milk and margerine, only cow's milk and butter with the breakfast. Surely if offering vegan options, alternative milk and non dairy spread should be available? Just think it's strange. Maybe something that could be considered please?
Found this place on Google as it's kids eat for £1 with a paying adult and we needed some lunch. Very spacious inside, I like how the tables aren't too close together. We ordered fish and chips, gammon and chips and childs all day breakfast, best pub food we've had in a long time! Wasn't waiting long and the food came out piping hot! Value for money and they also accept my Biue Light discount. The lady with the dark hair on the bar was really helpful! Would have been 5 stars for service but the other lady wasn't as polite and looked like she didn't want to be there. Will definitely return again! Highly recommend! Parking: Lots of spaces to choose from on both sides of the pub. Kid-friendliness: Provided colouring crayons and sheets to keep kids occupied.
This was my first visit, I was made very welcome by the staff. During my visit I chose a meal from the menu which arrived shortly after and I was not disappointed Well done to all the staff at 'The Highfield' and keep up the Great work
Went for lunch with Family , nice easy menu with varied offerings . Club sandwich was a little bit dry , and bread slightly over sized for portion , salad tasted questionable . Staff pleasant and attentive .
First time visiting in for several years. Ordered the sharing platter for starters, good size, hot, not much variety but thoroughly enjoyed by both parties. For our mains we ordered the Vegan Chilli Stack, the diced potatoes were hidiously small & cold! The beyond Meat burgers were disgusting, I had to leave, the taste, texture, just vile. We also ordered the 8oz rump which was over cooked & bland. The chips were tasteless as was the gravy, the mushrooms were just pure grease. The staff who bought out our food & collected the plates were nice & friendly, but the young red haired lady that served us at the bar was pretty miserable & rude with zero manners or customer service skills. Would not return, nor would I recommend. Drinks 10/10 Starters 10/10 Mains 2/10 Staff 5/10
A lovely pub with a lovely outdoor seating also a sports area with a pool table an array of beverages avaliable, the cocktails went down a treat. The service is brilliant with staff always polite and pleasant . Food is always lovely with many offerings from salad bowls, steaks and pub classics bangers and mash, fish and chips etc. My only gripe would be having whole mushrooms on your plate it just looks so unappealing and just spoils the dish so please if you can make your plates more polished by using sliced mushrooms you'd definitely deserve that 5 Parking: Plenty of parking. Kid-friendliness: My kids love tye burgers and it's a bonus in school half term when the kids eat-for £1 with a paying adult
Awesome food served here. Three happy customers who all ordered roast dinner. Everyrhing was great. 1x beef and 1x chicken. Had robinsons mint cordial and that should have been made stronger or with lemonade but other than that everything was perfect.
