Pleassent as always, really friendly staff, friendly atmosphere, sports on the TV, and good prices on drinks and food. Bonus they are dog friendly in the bar area, can't ask for anymore than that
Great place top pub especially for darts players To practice
Brilliant pub, favourite in the area very reasonably priced and warm welcome every time, the landlord is a lovely fella plenty of TVs and space to chill and watch sport darts boards and pool and nice garden in the back, best pub in the area
Nice pub .staff very friendly
Really good pub, we've been at different times and there's always a chilled atmosphere. Staff are super friendly. Also you can take dogs in
For a pub that uses Sports Bar as its main draw to customers they don't seem to understand how to create the right atmosphere. The landlady always has the volume turned down on the speakers so you can hardly hear the commentary!
Lovely very nice atmosphere x
This recently refurbished pub has been given a new lease of life by the new management team, Diane and Mick. Food is now being served and a 9am opening at weekends for breakfast. Quality cask ales are now available including locales. The beer garden has been improved and French windows installed that look out over it, I believe these will be opened up during the summer months to give a nice airy drinking and eating experience. Families are very welcome and the atmosphere is very ambient during the day and early evening then the pub comes to life, bustling with punters watching the live entertainment. This establishment is very sport orientated, showing all the live football and rugby league games amongst other sports. All in all this pub provides a top drinking experience and I would recommend it to anybody. The pricing is very competitive for such a grand pub. Enjoy
Nice decor, friendly staff, great to watch live sports loads of TV and various seating benches, stools, chairs and back rests.
If I could give half a star I would. Arrived yesterday for the England game and tried to order through the App which was down no fault of the staff working. I went in and asked about this and was told to try again and if not someone would be out. I then waited over an hour for someone to come over and was told on a number of occasions to wait despite there being 3 other tables before us get served a number of times. When the App did come back I ordered a small bowl of chips and waited over 1 hour. I went inside to mention this to someone and was met by a rude manager who was rolling her eyes and when I mentioned one of her staff had been rude to us, she said that it "hard to believe, but she'll have a word". I understand COVID slows everything down, but I have never been anywhere and received such shocking customer service from both staff and management. Save your money and go elsewhere.
