Nice little farm with plenty of parking located within Woodgate Valley country park. It’s a small farm, animals seem well cared for and it’s free entry, perfect for little ones to have a roam around and see the different animals
Lovely little farm. Kids loved it. £1.50 entrance fee you really can't moan!
A wonderful place to live in a farming role
We love the farm with cows, rabbits, pics and chicken, ideal for toddlers. Playground is also nice
My daughters are currently doing weekly sessions at Woodgate Valley Urban Farm as part of the All Age Autism charity. As a parent of children with additional needs, it is so difficult to find inclusive environments where they feel happy and accepted and where I feel comfortable to take a step back and let them spend time with other adults. Woodgate Valley is just this, Sue who runs the farm is so friendly, informative and goes above and beyond to make sure my children are happy and comfortable. The staff members who work with my children are also incredibly understanding and supportive and have put myself and my children at ease. My youngest daughter can be quite nervous around animals due to her sensory needs and the staff have been so amazing with her, taking things at her own pace and not pushing her out of her comfort zone. The animals are all so friendly and calm and are having a really positive impact on my children and their mental health. They absolutely love coming to the farm every week, helping to care for the animals and learning all about them. Thank you Sue and team for being so inclusive and simply just amazing!
Had a lovely time at the farm, it's so much better than it used to be and all the animals look very happy. Wonderful place to take your children, definitely reccomend it!
Lovely location run by good people, well run and animals well looked after
Our family had a fantastic time at Woodgate Valley Urban Farm today! The staff were all so friendly and lovely, a real credit to the place. They were only too happy to get the animals out and let us sit and stroke them. They even got parents involved in feeding the lambs! The prices of the ice creams were also very reasonable. Unfortunately, it was too hot that day, but we all had an incredible time nonetheless!
Not many animals there but as its donation only its good for toddlers
Got to the farm at 2.34 today gates were closed says closes online at 3pm guy was there letting people out that were already in there so I asked would we not be able to come in he said no last entry was 2.30 today bank Holiday. My daughter was devistated and he just didn't care not happy was only 4 minutes past 2. 30. I completely understand its voluntary run and its amazing that there's people that are happy to do that. But when it's a couple minutes out of time and there still there with people inside still and a child screaming wanting to go in I think is just very unfair. And option of going in for just 10 minutes would of been fine but nothing
