Such a lovely local park which became even more of a haven in lockdown. Great amount of space and different sections to look at while walking. The hut when up and running is a great new addition from last year too, and the playground is a good size too.
Looks like a war zone this morning, with discarded sledges and full waste bins. An example of a good community asset being well used. I'm sure that within a couple of weeks it will be back to normal. Great for dog walking. Good play area. Excellent. Photo taken Sunday.
Great public park. Good path. Only problem we had was that we didn't see any signage to indicate that one path turns into steps making it difficult for some people to access it. Good children's playground. A bit noisy with the nearby train but great for kids who enjoy trains! Skatepark and kids playground are nice additions.
Beautiful well kept park. Great space for kids to.run around. There is also a fab cafe that is run by friendly volunteers
Beautiful park which has been much improved by the cafe and the use of toilets. I understand that once covid is over the little tea room will also be used for a youth club.
What a lovely park!! A few hills so great for the fitness, went round twice 1700 steps brisk walk. Play area and small Scateboard park for the children. Lots of dog walkers, really nice park.
It's a real community effort . Really good for all generations. From youth workers doing creative inclusive things to old GOATS playing cribbage. Just ensure that the flat white is hot.
Lovely walks. Nice towpath made from recycled Christmas trees
Even in the dead of winter this fabulous community park is worth a visit.
Lovely local park, great for dog walking. Taking the kids to the park and for the kids to see trains on the hill. A cafe has been added recently but haven't tried it yet.
