Went in for a drink on the way to the races. Prices were not very reasonable with us paying £7.55 for a coke and Desperado... quite steep. Plenty of staff were working. I didn't order food but after a look at the menu it looked good with a wide range available. Large car park to the rear which is handy.
Went for a couple of drinks through the week and there was a good atmosphere. There weree two priests, one of them played guitar and they were so ging Xmas carols. Quite busy with people joining in the festive songs.
Went for Xmas dinner. I must say it was absolutely beautiful. It was very tasty indeed. The service and atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommended.
I had a nice visit here today with my family we brought the dog along too. Great food and very friendly and attentive staff! Looked after us and made it lovely. Thank you!
Used to be my local many moons ago, and to be honest feels like it hasn't really changed that much and feels a little dated now. A good choice of beers and spirits, and the food menu looks good, but it was lacking a little in atmosphere, feeling more like a working men's club with the swearing etc, which sadly made it a little less welcoming. Great positive though is that dogs are welcome
Had an amazing yorkshire pudding wrap. The meat was lovely and tender and the gravy was to die for. 100% would recommend, staff where amazing and lovely
Friendly staff and management with a welcoming atmosphere,fantastic helpful chefs and top quality food all the time.
Absolutely worth the 5 stars, great food great service, very accommodating nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely be returning.
Great place for a few drinks and something to eat.
Sincs new landlady took over the pub is definatly becoming popular, Good food, friendly staff and atmosphere, dj nights, kareoke, live acts. Pool table ,darts.excellent Sunday roasts. And all the food prepared by the chef's off the various menu's. Good choice of gluten free food as well . The kitchen is cooking Monday through to Sundays. Friendly staff warm welcome ,dogs are also welcome when on lead. Don't forget they do a lovely Sunday roast usually sell out so book a table to avoid disappointment
