Can sadly only agree with the other reviews saying this is the worst GP practice people have encountered, as this is true for me too. Run in a highly incompetent manner, patients treated coldly, abrasively & like they don't matter. Have to say GPs themselves have mostly been fine in past, but it's almost impossible to get to speak to them. The reception staff have in my experience been pretty awful. If you have an alternative place you can register I wouldn't touch this practice with a barge pole.
I can’t say much about the medical practice, but the person who was on reception yesterday was the rudest person I’ve seen in a long time. She has zero customer care. If you start your day the way you do then this isn’t the job for you. I am sure you are a nice person, but to be this rude at 8am just shouldn’t happen.
Online services are excellent, with the option to ask doctor or receptionist a question and request medications as a one off or get repeats. You can also choose where the prescriptions are sent. It is definitely worth registering for online services and using them as you will really benefit. Getting appointments over the phone is as difficult as most surgeries in UK and so you must be calling at 8am on the dot and wait in the queue to try for an appointment that day. I haven't tried doing this online but I think it is possible The doctors and nurses I've seen have all been professional, friendly and helpful. The receptionists are great and do their best in what must be at times a very stressful job please be polite to them, it's not their fault the system is the way it is! Also remember to put your car registration in the machine at reception if you park there otherwise you get a ticket. If you do get a ticket but you had an appointment you can appeal it by getting proof of your appointment from the reception team.
Absolutely disgusting service definitely the worst Health Centre I have ever used. Frustrating phone system and when you do get through finally No appointments or even a call back from a Doctor about a Cancer referral appointment to be arranged. This place is Broken
Rude, ineffective and dismissive. My partner attempting to jump through various hoops in order to get referral to a specialist. Probably not the drs fault in fairness. Blame lies at number 10 and the Tories.
Worst GP Ever .Always long waiting time to contact for Appointments and later on If you are connected by chance they misguide don't want to give you appointments.
I would like to thank the Practice Manager for her time and compassion when we needed help and support. To see a Doctor the same days is a novelty these day. The Dr was approachable and highly competent in my opinion. From a very grateful relative of one of their patients.
The worst Doctors I have ever been with... Staff unhelpful and rude. GP's are unprofessional and do not care. They also never sign repeat prescriptions in time...Almost impossible to get an appointment. If I could rate zero I would.
Rude receptionists, after a long queue on the phone call, you won't get any appointments and all they say is ring tomorrow again.
I am very disappointed to read that some folk think the receptionists are rubbish. I have a been a patient for more than 40 years. All I have ever received is kindness and help. Perhaps it depends on how you treat them, remember you are asking them to help you, and most of the time they do their best, under the circumstances. Have you tried using "Footfall" , you can send a message and you will receive a reply, or a phonecall within 2 days.
