Stayed 11 nights camping, the whole online check-in needs reviewing, people NEED to be shown where to pitch to avoid the chaos we encountered, people would arrive and pitch wherever they pleased, went out for the day only to return to having the family next us having pitched their tent at least 8 feet "off pitch" meaning that their tent was extremely close to ours and completely covering the area where we had parked our car for the previous week Also the family on the opposite side insisted on sitting up talking loudly until 2 am most nights Another family had a large boxer dog that was never on the lead and constantly running at top speed across a feild full of children We couldn't get our children onto the pool for the first 7 days, as it was fully booked! The on site shop may as well not exist...sparse hardly describes the stock situation Thankfully the weather was fantastic
Fantastic site. Well kept, accomodation was clean and tidy. A lot for the kids to do. Staff were very lovely and helpful. Nothing was too much to ask. Overall I would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay
Seems a nice place, had to go to repair a leaking pipes. Clean and well run. Local public house on the premises, but about half an hour to the main town, enough to leave the car there, if you want to have a drink. Also great place for the kids, seaside, takeaways, arcades etc.
On arrival we find an old chip yes the food varietyunder the cushions in caravan lounge so could've been cleaner, apart from that caravan was ok. The park is nice but it's main problem is the facilities just aren't big enough. The swimming pool is too small and we were turned away three times queuing for it. The arcade area is tiny also. The activities are a bit overpriced in my opinion. I did enjoy our stay and it is a nice distance from the beach, but it could've been better.
Great function room, bar & good little no fuss eatery. Attended a charity fundraiser for local homecare agency. A Good fun night. Noticed their New Year's Eve Party advert too.... Live musician, INCL. a meal... see in the New Year 2023 all for £10pp incredible!
Our family review: 1 -Arrival - Easy and clear. Straight to our caravan and no problem with check in 2 -Caravan - Clean, spacious and in a good location 3 - Park, clean, tidy and overall very nice 4 - Facilities - Everything you would need although I imagine it can be busy in the holidays 5 - Overall we would come again.
very relaxing little break. small little site but very well kept and clean. nice walks into town and we loved the strolls down the beach. staff all seemed great and we had a good bit of fun with them in an evening for the shows
A nice clean camp, A bit in the middle of nowhere though! Took a while before we could check in as there was a problem with the caravan that was assigned to us but soon given another and staff were polite while they were trying to sort. The caravan we were given though the chairs were all broken around the kitchen table which was a bit annoying, but the caravan was very clean. The on site shop is rather expensive as is expected, and the club house is rather small. Tiny dance floor for the kids. Overall a satisfactory experience. Playground: Clean and tidy. Dog-friendliness: Lots of dog bins and very close to the beach which is dog accessible
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice spacious caravan and very clean. Club house was also very big and had plenty of tables in, food was great and kids always had something to do Definitely be back!
We booked 3 camping spaces said they were together even gave us our plot number, which were next to each other. Day before we drove out around 3 pm they had left 2 of us together but moved the other one right over in the next field, on finally getting through to someone the assured us that they had sorted 3 pitches together In the other field. On arriving at reception they said they knew nothing of putting us together so basically it was tuff luck they couldn't change it. After finally speaking to a manager Courtney she managed to put us together in the emergency reserve spaces. By now we had been at the park 3.5 hours, with 5 young children and a dog and still not got our tents up. Yes this was finally sorted but it completely ruined our yearly family camping holiday, and we lost most of our first day. The park was good the toilets weren't so good, plus there isn't much light around camping fields as most of the lights weren't working. I did write a complaint to head office but all I got back was that they were sorry and the staff will be getting retained, and it was the receptionist that sent this when I was told it was going to management. DEFINITELY WONT USE THIS PARK AGAIN.
