I recently visited Windsor Leisure Centre, and it is truly a fantastic place for people of all age groups. Basically it’s a rip off because i payed full price and I used 10% of the service because none of the slides in park didn’t work at all, the staff isn’t friendly, the swimming pool is very old, and there is dirt everywhere with a horrible smell starting from the toilets to the changing rooms and even the water. I highly recommend on not coming here.
Rachel was instructing her first Dumbbell Strength class this morning.nWhat a lovely young lady! Rachel loaded my weights, explained everything clearly and gave me a really good workout. She is a very likeable, sweet and caring instructor who made everyone feel comfortable and supported. Rachel will soon have her own classes, so definitely give her a go!
It was my first time coming here today. Firstly it was a little difficult and time consuming finding a parking space. Checking in for our swim was very quick.nNow the changing rooms were not great. Their were staff in their doing bits, but the showers inside the toilet area were disgusting. Luckily we found another set of showers by the 2nd pool. Even then someone had wiped a clump of hair on the side. We managed to get a family cubicle and the floor was rank, plus their was an overflowing nappy bin. I felt very uncomfortable.nNow the pool itself was a lovely temperature. Their were 4 slides, starting off very small up to the giant one. The queues moved really quick. And the slides were a lot of fun. They even had a wave machine. There were plenty of lifeguards too. However the pool wasn't huge and in my opinion it felt very crowded. There wasn't much room and i felt like I was constantly on guard in case of bumping into an adult or child. Again this did not make me feel very comfortable. The pool was also full of disguared wristbands too.nTo use a hair dryer was 20p.nSo I am a bit disappointed and I'm unsure if I would go back.
Went here today for the 1st time in a good few years.nWas nice and quiet at about 2pm weekday.nHad to pay £4 non refundable for a padlock for the locker which i thought was a bit of a con!nStaff were pleasent enough.nNow for the swimming pool zone.nWater chute was out of action.. no wave pool. The whole place looks tired and rough.nSwimming pool floor looked a messnKids water features seen their best days.nLooks like it needs closing for a week for a good clean and paint... actually a full refurb is well on the cards i would say :-nWould prob visit again off peak during the afternoon as was quiet which is the only real positive.nSomeon had even left a rod kit for unblocking the toilets in 1 of the cubicles which i thought was very unhygienic!!
