Don’t listen to the snobs with their 1 star reviews! The food is good here, curries are well balanced, portions are large. The food is very reasonable in price. Free desserts! One star down as the round tables are very close together and tables have to be pulled out while you squeeze around them to sit down - not ideal.
The preparation and presentation were excellent. But the flavours were superlative. I've had decades of experience and have travelled widely. I love this genre of food. This is one of the best I've ever eaten in.
Never ever had anything bad to say, been eating here for years. Dine in, take away and Uber eats it's always a good experience. Good food. Good, traditional service.
Visited with a large group of about 25 people and they were very accommodating even when our group outgrew the table. Service a bit patchy and each section of our table received their drinks and food at different times - though appreciate coordinating a big group is tricky. The waiter that took my order was patient with my numerous queries about the contents of various dishes and I subsequently chose the paneer jalfrezi with a chapati, which was very nice. Other people also enjoyed their food. Vegetarian options: They have a nice selection of vegetarian sides that can be upgraded to a main course, plus a section of paneer curries. Paneer jalfrezi was very nice.
Service is wonderful, food is fresh and nice but I found it quite bland.Food: 3/5
Go to local Indian takeaway! Love this place, high quality fresh food and great service!
Excellent food. Service great. Price excellent value for money. 10/10 Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices as most Bangladeshi menus are.
I recently came with a group of friends on a Friday evening for my birthday meal. Food was good and we enjoyed it. It did arrive promptly apart from the naan we ordered which we had to chase up and was delivered pretty much at the end of the meal and was hot. However, the service was rude and pretty much ruined our meal unfortunately. If you are going to eat here I would recommend take away and avoid the restaurant.
In my opinion even 1 star is to many. This is by far the worst Indian takeaway I have ever had and I’ve had my fair share. Firstly our order was 30 mins late and when we brought it inside we noticed several items missing but let’s forget about that at the moment and rate the food that did arrive. The food was cold with the bread products incredibly soggy and inedible, there was absolutely no taste to the food and was very bland. The cherry on top is that when I received the missing items after calling the restaurant they had put onions in the food after I specifically said that a member of my family has an allergy. To put it simply you would have to pay me money to eat there again and the money it would take to get me to eat their “food” again would help me to retire.
Few days back I ordered chicken Tikka masala curry through Uber eats. Got delivered some red colour curry and it doesn't taste like chicken Tikka masala. The chicken was hard and burned. The curry was too sweet and the whole box went to bin as I couldn't even take a bite. Great disappointment and wasted my £9.95. Never gonna buy from here again.
