Went a couple of weeks ago. Decor was nice and the restaurant was clean. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The owner/manager was quite passionate about the restaurant, which was nice. Food I thought was a bit old school Indian dining, and for the price, I don’t personally think was worth it. Mind you they were busy for a Wednesday night.
Went there with my family. What a blast day!! Every single item tastes absolutely delicious. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. The owner was at the restaurant. He has a warm personality made us feel very welcome. Btw, the foods don't just taste good but they are very instagrammable as well.
Absolutely loved every second we were there! We went for my cousins birthday meal. Service was amazing, always helping and checking on us. But the food, just the best! I'm usually quite fussy going to Indian restaurants and my family just fussy in general but this place just ticked so many boxes. The fact we could choose the spice levels helped even more considering me just prefer it that way! And then the little celebratory show they did for my cousin. Honestly, I can not fault this place! Must Go! :
I went to bay leaf on valentines date. I can’t explain in words how nice was the food and their customer service. I can’t recall when I had such a great time last in a restaurant in london. They have the best mock-tails trust me! I don’t mind to pay a amount for my food if the environment of the restaurant is beautiful, food is delicious and customer service is excellent! Will definitely recommend this restaurant to all. I couldn’t post the main course photos as they I have only filmed them.
Wow wow wow! The most delicious food and stunning presentation! I cannot believe I have lived in Whetstone for many years and never dined here before. My husband and I were greeted by Sanaz and she was extremely friendly, she escorted us to our seats where we were greeted by Bodrul with the menus. We ordered starters & mains and it was probably the best food we have ever eaten in an Indian restaurant. I would highly recommend anyone to eat here as the food is absolutely stunning. We spoke loads with Bodrul and Mitras and they were so lovely and provided excellent service. Can’t wait to return and dine here again! See you all soon
Having had takeaways from Bayleaf over the years we decided to visit the restaurant. We were all glad we did. The staff were all polite, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was amazing and I don’t say that lightly. We ordered an appetizer, lovely. The three of us all had a different main dish and we ordered some side dishes. Everyone tried all the different dishes and there was not one we didn’t like. We couldn’t finish off everything but the staff were good enough to prepare it for us to take home. It would have been a shame to waste it! We managed 2 deserts which we shared. Everything was lovely. Looking forward to our next visit!
Had a family dinner. The food and service were good. I ate the mix grill which was great. Happy to go again.
My wife and I came here for a nice midweek dinner date. Good choice of food with a special, misty surprise for selected dishes. Customer service second to none. Our waitress Mitra sorry if its spelt incorrectly was so lovely. We will definitely be back. Vegetarian options: A few vegan and vegetarian options available.
I had gone to bayleaf for my birthday and I had a lovely experience. Although it is more on the expensive side I would say that I’d come back, the food was so good and the staff were lovely.
Reasonably priced fine dining: Nice ambience, attentive & friendly staff, theatrical presentation & above all delicious food. Interesting menu, desserts particularly good as compared to other Indian restaurants. Good selection of wines too. This one definitely raises the bar for Indian food in London.
