Terrible service, definitely do not order takeaway from here. The delivery driver claimed he rang the doorbell, then when I called him he said he had left to do another delivery and would be 20 minutes. An hour and a half later, he is not answering his phone, and when I called the restaurant they said they are not able to do anything. No offer of a refund or to send fresh food. A complete waste of money, and judging by other reviews, I'm not the only person this has happened to. Steer clear of this place. Update - it's been almost 4 hours since I ordered. The food never arrived, and I've had no refund. This restaurant is a scam.

We had the paneer curry pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The curry base was incredibly delicious and all the flavours were perfect. The staff were lovely and friendly and the service was nice and quick. 10/10 all round! Thank you!

Was passing by this takeaway, and was super hungry. I thought I will have a lamb biriyani as it’s easy to eat with a fork sitting in your car. As their name suggests, they just got some rice, some spices and lamb & mixed it…. THAT IS NOT BIRIYANI!! A takeaway could not provide a plastic fork either, I was told “only spoon”. I have to be fair and say the price was average £8.95 and yes, it did have cubes of real lamb in it. Otherwise, I would give 0 !

Last night 04/01/2023 for the very first time I decided to try this restaurant as I wanted a change. I have lived in the area since 2013 was used to another takeaway very close by. I found a leaflet I had stashed away. Decided to order salmon tikka which they didn’t have. I then ordered a chicken saag aalo pizza 10 inch and a tarka Daal. Very polite man on the phone said it would take between 30 and 45 minutes it was about 50 minutes approx. I was to say the least very very impressed the tarka daal was much better even better than the other place which I have been ordering from. For approx 8 odd years. The pizza was 10 in square and I have to say really tasty. Like I said it’s my first time and yes it definitely tickled my taste buds so I will now become a regular here too thank you for the lovely food Rice and Spice. Vegetarian options: Very tasty many options they actually have five vegan dishes and is the only restaurant I have seen that sells uncooked marinated food for you to cook at home so yes a big plus. Pizza has so many options .

I don’t know if their under new management but they have changed so much since the last time I went, which was couple months ago. The picture seen is £9.85 and if I wanted a bigger one it was £10.95 which ain’t listed on their menu. I went today which is 26th June 2022, and didn’t get 10% discount and when I mentioned it he said they got a new menu and 10% discount don’t apply. When I asked where’s the new menu he said it’s coming next week which I know is a lie the new menu meant to apply to me when u get it so he meant to go by the old one since the new one hasn’t arrived. Wish the old people was their who had good customer service skills.

It's a takeaway that also does pizzas, has nice curry based pizzas that I've not had anywhere else. That's what I like about this place, recommend the chicken 65 curry base pizza, is spicy.Food: 4/5

After a 12 hour long haul flight myself and my family of five, returned home to Hackney, only to find nothing to cook in the house !! We googled local takeaways and found, Rice and Spice and we placed an order. I was greeted very professionally and courteously and he walked me through the ordering process effortlessly, the food was amazing, which arrived within the stated time of 45 minutes and also was priced very reasonably. This company is highly recommended for their quality of food, their pricing and their delivery were all spot-on. 10 out of 10 and thumbs keep up the good work. Hope to place another order soon.

We have used Rice and Spice for a long time and always enjoyed our meals, but I'm sorry to say that todays delivery was not up to the usual standard. The whole meal was very salty, the bajis were like sponge cake, the naan was like a sour dough flat bread and the lamb in the rogan was fatty, Whether its new management ot new chefs, its not good. Very disappointing.

Absolutely amazing food I ordered the chicken Goan it's the best dish I've ever ordered from a Indian takeaway it's packed with flavour and spices. The portions are definitely worth the price. My mum has dietary requirements and they always go above and beyond for her when we order from here.

I have had the worst experience with this company and their customer service Jane. Although some issues outside of their control arised, there has been ZERO support or solutions from their side. And issues which they are responsible for, again, ZERO solution. Out of 3 orders I only received 1, and 5 out of the 10 boxes I had to throw away because the food was disgusting. This is not even something that I am holding against them, it’s probably just me who didn’t like the food, but the customer service has been an enormous deal breaker and unimaginably horrible. A shame for the 2 young gentlemen who create such a good image of RNS on socials, but the reality is that their teems needs some serious training.
