The Wilson Carlile Centre also houses a library, bookshop and chapel and is the home for the national charity Church Army.

The room was super clean and tidy. Staff are attentive and friendly, nothing is to much trouble. Breakfast additional £5 for full cooked breakfast is very good value. Room over warm.....

I have to strongly disagree with the 4.5 rating. It was my second time at this property and hygiene standards were so low I was sad. Room/bathroom were not clean. Pricing, customer service and location are good. Based on this I would NOT recommend this facility.
For the money it's a brilliant place to stay. Spotlessly clean, and a five minute walk from city centre. Continental breakfast included or you can get a cooked breakfast for around £3 in the cafe at the side of reception. All of the staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Cheap and basic hotel but well worth the money. Scrupulously clean with friendly staff. Stayed in disabled room. Had every aid you could think of
A no frills. Low cost. Place to stay. Ideally situated. Only disappointment was hygiene /cleaning of the room. As i said no frills. What you get is what you pay for.
